Accommodation in Prague

338 Discounted Prague Hotels - Booking.com

Accommodation in Prague will probably be most expensive item on your itinerary. Prague is busy all year round so it is best to arrange accommodation in Prague before you depart. If you are travelling around Christmas, Easter and July or August it is best to book well ahead. When looking for accommodation you should check both the price, and the distance from the city centre. Sometimes it is better to find accommodation further from the centre because, compared to other world cities, Prague is quite small and its public transport is very effective (but check different hotel offers, you may find a great deal in the centre) If you are planning to stay in private accommodation it is advised to view the property before handing over any money. The number of stars does not frequently correspond with international standards, because sometimes the owners class their businesses themselves. Nearly all hotels set prices depending on season. Obviously prices will be highest during peak times. (up to 20% higher in summer than during the low season).

    Accommodation in Prague - Prices

Depends on season, we advise you book well ahead. Prices are high specially over Christmas and Easter holidays and in summer. Everything might looks cheap in Prague but accommodation might be big surprise.

    Private Accommodation

Can be much cheaper alternative compare to Hotels. You can find agencies offering such accommodations all over Prague, including at the main train station, Holesovice station and at Ruzyne Airport. Rates start at around 400CZK per person per night.

Watch out for pickpockets. They usually Acting in groups and target trams, metros and other crowded places. Be particularly careful on trams 14, 17, 22 and 23.

Don't hail taxis on the street. Either ask a Czech person to call you a cab or call one of the city's more reputable English-speaking companies. Try AAA at 233 113 311 or ProfiTaxi at 261 31 41 51.
