The Alcron Restaurant in Prague Is the Best In the Czech Republic in the Long Term

Thanks to its gourmet food, stunning interior design and polite staff, the Alcron Restaurant really is a wonderful place to spend your unforgettable evening.

The Alcron Restaurant has been, since its opening in 1932, a place with an exquisite kitchen that has won many awards all over the world; a place of joy and well-being and a place of philosophical and political musing. During the reconstruction in 2000, its arrangement changed slightly, although the tradition and the renowned commending simile, “It’s like in Alcron”, keep living.

The interior, with its intimate atmosphere with candles, dancing couples in New York on motifs of Tamara de Lempická and with a fireplace from the thirties, invite an intimate gathering for only 24 guests. But the true art represents food, which is made out of fresh ingredients prepared using modern culinary techniques. One of the most famous cooks in the Czech Republic, Roman Paulus, offers a degustation menu to his guests. They can enjoy every detail of the dish with carefulness and love – its taste and great smell and amazing artistic and creative presentation.

In 2017, the restaurant won the last one of its many Michelin Stars, proving it to be a high-quality restaurant with much success.
