There are some excellent jazz clubs in Prague where you can listen to jazz in all its forms - from Dixieland to Swing. A good idea is to book a table, especially in summer. Live performances start usually no earlier than by 21.00hrs. Most jazz clubs charge entrance fee of around 100 CZK, or even less. One of the oldest jazz club in Prague is Reduta Jazz Club, Narodni trida 20. It gets busy as some big bands will play here. Another one worth recommending is the Jazz club U stare pani, Michelska 9, close to metro station Mustek. There is a wide variety of music from jazz to blues and soul played here. Jazz Club Zelezna - is hidden in a cellar in Zelezna 16, just a few steps from the Old Town square. Live music starts every evening from 9pm. Agartha Club - a very traditional club, famous guests from all over the world have played here. The program starts at 9pm. If Karel Ruzicka is playing, don't miss his performance, he is one of the biggest Czech jazz artists.
