Hostels in Prague
- 7-8-2007
- Categorized in: Hostels (Backpackers)
There are quite a few hostels in Prague. Some of them are open just in peak season, others all year rounds. Prices in hostels range from 200 CZK to 600 CZK for a bed - mostly in dormitory rooms. There are not many hostels in the centre and their rates are quite high, sometimes as much as cheap 2** hotels. Some serviced apartments in Prague are also available, like hostels they offer quad rooms for more individuals, prices are similar to that of hostels (but they accept bookings only for larger groups). Also some universities, colleagues and schools rent rooms during summer for around 300 CZK a bed with basic facilities. Usual check in time is after 2pm and check out time is 10am. You can check also Hostelling International for hostel offers.

if you want to stay in Prague for a weekend, I have a possibility to accomodate you in a flat with bathroom, kitchen, TV, internet just ten minutes from the airport and another ten minutes to the center by bus or by tram. Its quite house, so no parties allowed :) If you want to pick up at the airport by car, it is also possible.
This time I am working as a teacher on Charles University in Prague and I am not using my flat on weekends. The price will be 15 Euro/ person/day and 10 Euros for pick up at the airport (drive to the airport for your leave is also possible for another 10 Euros). There is also welcome drink for free and I can give you some good advices for your stay in Prague.) If you want more infos, my mail is jancebe@gmail.com.
I am a wheelchair user planning a trip to Prague in about 2/3 wks. Can I get some advice about wherre to stay? I am currently looking at a place called cherry cottage, 15 mins out of the city for about £270 (three of us in 1 bedroom, two able bodied). Any help or advice would be much appreciated..
