Musaion (Kinsky Summer House)

A permanent ethnographical exhibition of the National Museum dedicated to the folk culture of the Czech Republic (material and spiritual culture, folk art, collections of folk clothes, ways of living, methods of farming and customs), is supplemented by displays of folk crafts and handicraft techniques, regular folklore concerts, educational programmes and professional and social encounters of folk culture enthusiasts. The Musaion is situated in the premises of the newly renovated Empire-style Kinský Summerhouse, covering a floor space of approximately 2000 square metres.

Location: Kinského zahrada 98, Prage 5 - Smíchov
Opening hours: daily, Oct.–Apr. 9–17.30; May–Sep. 10–17
Getting there: Metro B – station Anděl, Tram 6, 9, 12, 20 – stop Švandovo divadlo
Admission: 80 CZK, admission free with Prague Card
