Rock Café

- Categorized in: Rock Clubs
Thanks to its location and name, Rock Café is a very popular music club in Prague. The club is not only a venue for concerts but also provides space for a gallery, CD shop and cinema.
Rock Café is divided into a few sections. In the first section you'll find a pub, open the whole day and evening, with comfy sofas and club chairs. In the other section is the Gung-Ho CD shop, where you can buy metal and underground music and also book tickets for some metal concerts. The bar, an internet café and the stage for concerts are located underground. The stage is an air-conditioned huge black hall with a capacity for a few hundred people. Occasionally there are also some music contests, mainly of young unknown bands that hope to be noticed by the organising sponsor.
After recent renovations the capacity of the club and bar space has increased.
Location: Narodni 20, 110 00 Prague 1
Admission: admission is applicable only for concerts. The price depends on the day, but entry is free on Tuesdays.
