The spas of the Czech Republic are renowned throughout Europe and are visited on account of their health benefits. Visits to a spa town do not necessarily just have to be about curing what ails you, but can also include a range of cultural and social activities, walking around historic spa colonnades etc. Most public and hotel spas accept day visitors which make this a really great option for a relaxing day trip from Prague.
Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, Františkovy lázně, Jáchymov and Priessnitzovy lázně in Jeseník are among the Czech Republic's best known spa towns.
