Charles Street
This 12th-century street used to be part of the Royal Route along which coronation processions passed on the way to Prague Castle. Along the street you can see numerous Gothic and Renaissance houses though most are now converted into souvenir shops. Do not miss the House at the Golden Well with its baroque façade and stucco reliefs of saints including St. Roch and St. Sebastian.
Location: Old Town (near Charles Bridge), in Czech street is called Karlova Ulice
Tip: Antique books, printings can be found in numerous stores in the downtown area and especially at the street shops of the Charles Street.

Originally called Jesuits street in the 12th century this narrow medieval street was part of the Royal Route, and has always connected the Old Town by way of Charles Bridge with the Old Town Square.
