Ballroom Dancing

The tradition of formal balls lives on in the 21st-century Czech Republic. And in contrast to many other EU countries, the balls held here are not restricted to the highest social levels, but in fact attract a broad spectrum of the public. Ladies in sweeping gowns and gentlemen in their best suits dancing till dawn can be your companions in the romantic ball of your dreams.

U Bukanyra - music houseboat

U Bucanyra houseboat is a quite nice place, especially thanks to its location in the centre of Prague, as well as its friendly atmosphere, good sound system and free entry. The club relies on DJs only, so no live bands. The main music styles there are house and Prague favourite drum’n’bass, and one has to admit it is nice to dance to kick drum on the boat, which actually floats and swings in the waves. You can hear other styles there, though; minimal, trance, techno and jungle.

This quite nice club with a ten-year history is located on the left side of the river between Smichov and Lesser Town district.

Le Mirage Music Club

Le Mirage is a nice small place with a friendly atmosphere and good services located just a few minutes’ walk from metro IP Pavlova (or Radost FX club).

Lucerna Music Bar

It is not the best venue in Prague, nor is the music cutting-edge, but if you're after a cheesy party night, this could be your choice.

Karlovy Lazne

If you are confused about which club to visit during your short break for a good party time - Karlovy Lazne is the best bet. Karlovy Lazne is a mega disco club right beside the Charles Bridge, next to the Club Lavka, situated in a historical bathhouse building originating from the 15th century.

Palac Akropolis

Not exactly centrally located but not far from the centre either, it lies between Zizkov and Vinohrady districts.
