Prague Guide

The Baroque chateau was built from 1724 - 1725 and was designed by the Prague architect F. M. Kaňka. The interior decoration was the work of famous Baroque artists including M. B. Braun and V. V. Reiner. After the fire in 1754, the chateau was partially modified in the Rococo style and remained this way until today. The chateau interiors are furnished with historical furniture and the Sternberg family collection from 17111 — 19th century.The chateau is surrounded by a large English-style park. The chateau is located 50 km south east of Prague. more info
