Liberec
Liberec is in a valley located in-between the Jizera Mountains and the Ještěd. Liberec has several fascinating areas to visit like Ještěd peak (which has great city views), the Town Hall, the Castle of Liberec, the Babylon Aqua-Centre and the Zoo and Botanical Gardens. This great zoo is packed with monkeys, tigers, giraffes, lions, seals and penguins. Remember also the splendid tropical home infested with snakes and lizards with tropical plants and boisterous birds flying around.

The northern Bohemian city of Liberec owes its long history to the fabled success of its textile industry. The town developed mainly in the 19th century, when the riches of its industrialists led to the emergence of its beautiful architecture. Today many visitors come to Liberec, especially during the annual winter ski-jump competitions, for a relaxing break visiting the huge Liberec Aqua Park, or when on the way to some of the nearby ski resorts.
