Credit and debit cards are widely accepted; most shops or restaurants that deal with western clients will accept American Express, MasterCard or Visa. Most banks offer cash advances on MasterCard and Visa, and all banks throughout the country have ATMs that honour the above cards.

Almost all hotels, restaurants and shops in the city centre do accept credit and debit cards. Best choice to take is Visa and MasterCard followed by AMEX.
