United Islands of Prague is the city's annual festival which has become an important cultural event of the Metropolis. The festival is usually held in mid-June and lasts for three days.

Designblok is an annual design festival showing the newest trends, historical design and inspiration from the present; a kind of design chart. The Festival was first introduced in 1998 and since then has grown bigger every year.

The O2 Sazava Fest started as a one-day event in 2001 for 1800 people, with only one stage and a much more genuine cast, from a festival for 1800. Today the Sazava Fest has become a respectable festival for more than 20,000, lasting for four days on six stages.
