Football
Football
Football is a very popular spectator sport in Prague and national league games are featured in the city’s two major stadiums.
Sparta Praha and Slavia Praha are the two main teams in Prague contending for the national league title. Other smaller teams are FC Bohemians and FK Viktoria Zizkov. The football season runs throughout the year apart from July and January. Games are mostly played on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday afternoons.
Most popular stadiums:
AC Sparta Stadium – This is the Toyota Arena, the home ground of Sparta Praha who have won the national league numerous times. It is also used for big international matches.
Tickets for games range from 50 to 250 CZK.
