Stvanice Island in Prague has been a place of sport for many years. There is a historic hockey stadium, where the Czech national team won the world championship for the first time. You can visit some tennis courts or the relatively new skateboard park.

The new Eden Stadium was opened on 7th May 2008 on the site of the former Slavia Stadium. It is home to Slavia Praha, which is one of the two best football clubs in the Czech Republic.

The Great Strahov Stadium (Strahovský stadion in Czech) is a stadium in the Strahov district of Prague. It was the largest stadium in the world and is the second largest sports facility worldwide after the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, seating around 220,000.

The Tesla Arena (formerly known as the T-Mobile Arena) is primarily used for ice hockey. It is the venue of HC Sparta Prague, but it is also very often used for music concerts. The Tesla Arena opened in 1962 as Sportovní hala.

The O2 Arena in Prague is one of Europe's most modern multi-functional arenas, and is also home to the Czech Extraliga team HC Slavia Praha. It is Prague's main venue for all kinds of sports, culture, entertainment, exhibitions, fairs and other events.

This football stadium is home to AC Sparta Prague, and also often hosts the Czech National Football Team for big international games. The stadium was built in 1917 and reconstructed in 2005.
