Prague is well known for its beautiful Eastern European girls, and the same goes for nightclubs and Czech beer. A BBC programme about prostitution in European capital cities connected with popular weekend stag parties of Britons in the Continent, reported the Czech Republic to be a transit centre for the selling of women. The documentary also describes a meeting, filmed with a hidden camera, with a Czech-speaking man who offers two women for sale.

According to information available on the internet, the prices for 30 minutes in a private apartment are around 800 to 1500 CZK, while some women ask for less, such as 700 CZK. An hour costs 1300 to 1500 CZK, and two hours above 3000 CZK.

“I got used to luxury and cocaine,” says Tereza, who is now 28 and has a well-paid husband and two beautiful, healthy children. Nobody would believe that she used to earn money as a hooker. “But every now and then somebody appears who remembers my former life,” says Tereza, who told us why she started doing sex for money.
