Prague Discount Cards
Most venues offer discounts for students, children and the disabled. If you are in such a category it is not really necessary to buy some of the discount cards. Discount cards are only good value if you know you will visit more attractions and you are staying at least 3 nights in Prague. We know that some tourists buy them even for 2 night stays, but they will not save money by doing so.
Prague Card is a four-day admission card to over 50 monuments and museums throughout Prague. You can also buy a tourist travel permit for the city's public transport. The card is accompanied by a six-language brochure with information on various buildings and with coupons (in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian).
Validity: The period of validity is four days. The Card must bear the name of the holder and is non-transferable.
Price: 790 CZK (34 EUR) adults. 530 CZK (23 EUR) students. You can also buy a three-day tourist ticket for the city's public transport at the price of 330 CZK (14 EUR).

There are two companies offering discount cards for visitors to Prague. You can buy a special tourist card for visitors called a Matilda card (Prague Card) which provides entry to most major attractions for significantly reduced rates plus free city transport for a fixed price of 790 CZK for adults and 530 CZK for children and students.
