Orientation in Prague: The city is divided into two parts: east and west either side of the Vltava River. On one side are the Old Town Square, Jewish Quarter and New Town, and on the other side are the Lesser Quarter, Petrin Hill and Hradcany including the castle.

You can buy maps of Prague in bookshops, newsagents, hotels and tourist information offices. The best maps you can buy are printed by Kartografie Praha and are called Plan Mesta Prahy.
