Prague to Warsaw - by Train
There are only two direct trains linking Prague and Warsaw, one of them being an overnight sleeper. It is quite a long journey, taking 8 hours and 36 minutes. However, there are other alternatives, for example you can take the following trains: EC 143 Odra or EC 119 Comenius to the Bohumin and then transfer for EC 104 Sobieski or EC 120 Polonia - to Warsaw. For a one-way ordinary ticket you will pay 1200 CZK (around 43 EUR).
Trains leave from Prague - Hlavni nadrazi travelling to Warszawa Centralna (Warsaw Central Railway Station).
| train | from | dep. | to | arr. |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Buying tickets
You can either buy tickets online or at major stations from the international counter. If you do not have time you can also purchase tickets from the conductor once you board the train (but you will be charged a hefty supplement). If you wish to purchase tickets online be warned that some international websites selling tickets do charge an extra booking fee and you might end up paying up to twice as much compared to if you buy the tickets directly from the Czech Railways website.
Alternative: Private transfer by taxi, minibus or bus.
