Prague Climate

Prague has a huge contrast between the summers and the winters. The winters become cold with occasional snow (snow is rare in the city) and ice, daytime temperatures hover around freezing, falling several degrees lower at night. But the summers are very warm with plenty of sunshine and accompanied with often rains. Springs are mostly sunny, the wettest months being in summer, May to August. In Prague it starts to get cold from late September and the lowest temperatures are in December, January and February. The average annual temperature ranges from 5.5°C to 10°C.
