English Media in Prague
All the major foreign language newspapers are available at newsstands in the city centre. These include the current day’s issues of The Guardian, The International Herald Tribune, USA Today International, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Le Monde and other major newspapers. Magazines such as Time, Newsweek, Figaro and National Geographic are often available as well.
The weekly newspaper, Prague Post, run by expats, is your local best source of news.
There are four government-run TV channels, ČT1, ČT2, ČT24 (news) and ČT4 (sports). There are also two private channels, Nova and Prima. Most hotels and holiday apartments have satellite receivers or cable TV.
