Renting paddleboats or rowboats on the island near the National Theater represents a superior way of enjoying the river. You will float along at your own speed, amongst the swans, and observe local people cruising by on their own rowboats (60 CZK per hour for paddle-boats, 40 CZK per hour for row-boats, take your picture ID for a deposit).
