The transport connections between Prague and Dresden are as old as the cities themselves. A highway that connects them should have been a matter of course for decades now, but it still does not exist yet in reality. A highway connection from Prague to Dresden should be completed by the end of the year. However, the construction will be more expensive in the end since its completion is long overdue. However, according to the CTU, the whole society loses CZK 680 million each year the highway is not in operation.
